Privacy Policy
Effective June 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Loupe (operated by Gaebal Sanghoe) collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and applies to all visitors and users.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Account information: your email address and a sign-in identifier from your Google or Discord account.
- Payment information: when you subscribe, our payment provider collects and processes your payment details. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage information: log and access records, cookies, device and browser information, and the code and work you submit while using the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- to provide the Service and authenticate you;
- to evaluate the code you submit and return learning results;
- to manage subscriptions and process payments;
- to respond to your requests and send service notices;
- to analyze usage and improve the Service.
3. Third Parties We Share With
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only as needed:
- The payment provider shown at checkout processes payments and refunds.
- An AI model provider processes the code and work you submit in order to evaluate it.
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies to keep you signed in. For usage analytics we run a self-hosted, privacy-respecting analytics tool rather than a third-party advertising network. You can block cookies in your browser, though some features (such as sign-in) may then be limited.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, we do not currently respond to DNT signals; however, we do not track you across third-party websites for advertising.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask us to stop processing it, by emailing us. California residents may request the categories of personal information we collect and the third parties with whom we share it. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you close your account we delete your personal information, except where we must retain certain records to comply with law.
8. Data Security
We protect personal information with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls on our databases, and hashing of authentication credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. International Users
We operate from the Republic of Korea, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data-protection laws than your own.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
