Terms of Service
Effective June 16, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Loupe (the “Service”), operated by Gaebal Sanghoe (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Loupe is a practice and assessment service that helps you build and demonstrate the skill of verifying AI-written code — that is, finding the bugs in it.
- Free: 3 attempts at signup and 3 more on the 1st of each month.
- Paid plans (Lite, Standard, Pro): monthly subscriptions with the price and allowance shown on the Pricing page.
- Attempt packs: prepaid attempts stored separately from subscriptions.
- Guest trial: try one problem without an account.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Accounts
You sign in with a Google or Discord account; during review periods we may also offer email and password sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Automatic Renewal
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis. Your subscription automatically renews each month at the then-current price until you cancel.
We will tell you the renewal terms clearly before you subscribe, and we will give you advance notice by email before any change to your renewal price takes effect. The amount, billing frequency, and renewal date are shown at checkout and in your account.
Payments are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout. During bank-transfer periods, access is granted after manual confirmation. We do not store sensitive payment details such as full card numbers.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us, and canceling is as easy as signing up. When you cancel, automatic billing stops at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until that period ends. Refunds, if any, are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use another person's account or misrepresent your identity;
- interfere with or place an unreasonable load on the Service;
- copy, redistribute, or publish problem content without our consent;
- use the Service in violation of applicable law.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. We will notify you of the reason where practical; in urgent cases notice may follow. You may contact us to dispute a suspension.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service software, interface, and problem content are owned by us. You retain rights to code you write while using the Service; we process it to evaluate your work and to improve the Service, and may use de-identified statistics.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and is intended for practice and learning. Assessment results and feedback are for educational reference and are not a substitute for professional judgment. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide reasonable advance notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith before pursuing formal proceedings.
